Voltaic Comment: Erik - we agree on the s not. I want to give 4.5 stars because I' m not really an aesthetics guy, but the cable itself appears really inelegant and, given the cost of the whole system, something a little 'prettier' could have come along. This think works and the folks at Voltaic Systems are brilliant for having come up with it. Ultimately it is a cable and all it has to do is work. Whatever the case, this company is awesome, they have great customer service and they make great products! I have been meaning to do a video on the bag but haven' t gotten around to it yet. It worked great but now it is not at all useful for me. I tested it a few times but never had a chance to use it in the real world before my computer' s keyboard failed.
I was relieved when I saw that the company had made a laptop version that worked with my computer I was thrilled. I have several of the chargers and I didn' t want to give them up! I also had one of the older model Voltaic backpacks and the zipper broke so it was a good time to upgrade. That was in a large part because I love the MagSafe connectors.
I am one of those people who holds onto laptops until they die and I have been holding onto this one with a tight grip. I' m using it now as I type and it works well. This adapter allows the V88 battery bank to power my MacBook Pro.
